Help LWVO be a part of history!
In 2019, the Ohio General Assembly established the Women’s Suffrage Commission to honor the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, a pivotal milestone in the fight for women’s voting rights and the broader struggle for universal suffrage. Among its many efforts, the Commission envisioned a powerful and enduring tribute: a monument on the grounds of the Ohio Statehouse. This monument will honor the ongoing fight for women’s suffrage and equality—celebrating the achievements of the past, acknowledging the work of the present, and inspiring the progress of the future.
As a leader in the suffrage movement, the League of Women Voters of Ohio (LWVO) deserves to be forever memorialized on this historic monument. This recognition is not only a testament to LWVO’s contributions, but also a call to action to ensure our legacy endures. We need your support to make this vision a reality.
Join us in commemorating LWVO’s vital role in advancing equality and democracy.
