"Making Democracy Work" is not just a slogan. It’s a commitment that each member of the League of Women Voters has undertaken to ensure that voting is free, fair, and accessible and that our government is accountable to its citizens.

The LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF OHIO (LWVO) is a 501(c)(4) organization. Contributions to the LWVO will provide direct support for the League’s work in mobilizing citizens and influencing public policy through advocacy. Donations to the LWVO are not tax-deductible, but they are critical to carrying out our mission. Please note that the League is nonpartisan: we never support or oppose candidates of political parties.
