2019 Statehouse Day

LWV Ohio’s Annual Statehouse Day event focuses on state-level public policy issues that affect our democracy and women’s rights, while allowing everyday Ohioans to lobby the General Assembly. League members and supporters from throughout the Buckeye State will hear from experts about LWVO’s legislative priorities such as voting rights/access, women’s reproductive health, and education funding. Participants will learn best practices for lobbying elected officials, attend a panel discussion on women in government from inspiring women leaders, and enjoy a keynote lunch. Programmatic activities will end midday, and teams of advocates will visit elected officials to discuss issues most important to them.
